CVS Haul

Good Evening Lovelies,

So this morning, I went to CVS to pick up some more nail varnishes. I managed to pick up 5 varnishes only because they didn't seem to have any Wet N' Wild in stock. If they had, I would have picked up 10 varnishes today lol. 

Because they didn't have any WNW I decided to just get Spoiled which is 1.99$/each but I had been planning on getting 2 Spoiled eventually.

From Left to Right: Only in Creams, Black Mamba, Distant Memory, My Silicone Popped, and Steel the Show.

I already knew I wanted Distant Memory and My Silicone Popped, the others were just quick decisions.

Only in Creams is exactly that, a cream. Black Mamba is a glittery black varnish. Distant Memory is a teal with sparkles; very mermaid like. My Silicone Popped is a very posh pink color. And last but not least, Steel the show is this weeks MOTW; It's a taupe like grey varnish, a very neutral, flat color.

Mani of the Week 2 (MOTW): Steel the Show by Spoiled

MOTW 2: Steel the Show by Spoiled

This week I am wearing Steel the Show by Spoiled. Spoiled is a brand sold only at CVS' stores and it has 80 some different shades. Spoiled brand nail varnish is only 1.99$ which is actually very nice given the quality and shades. I wanted to try Steel the Show because I thought it was going to be a nice steel grey color but, it's actually more of a taupe or muddy grey if anything.

This color would be good for a more professional nail or Fall shade. I myself think that I will be better off finding a grey of a different shade to appease me but I may wear it more often once I'm done college.

The formula of this varnish isn't too bad. It is my first time trying it and it's left a good impression so far.

A Day Late--

Hola Lovelies,

So I'm a day late on Updating and feel like I'm going to start updating on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays perhaps, just so it's a more organized schedule.

Tonight or Tomorrow Morning I will be doing a mini haul so I may be getting some new nail varnishes or other stuff haha. I also just did an online haul that I will be posting as soon as I get it all in. And can I just say...I HATE WAITING! Lol. 

I purchased 2 lots of Nail Fimo Canes so I will be using those in future Mani of the Weeks. I also purchased a new handbag and handbag organizer even though I just got a new bag like a week ago. I will show you guys that one as well. 

Maybe I will get some orange and black nail varnish and do a Halloween theme MOTW Thursday.

Oh the possibilities!

New Purchases

I picked up XOXO this past weekend at Walmart for 5 or 6$. I knew that I already like the scent, because a friend of mine had let me wear some of her's a couple months ago and I just couldn't stop smelling my hands. To me this is a very sweet but musky scent. It claims it smells of raspberry, lemon and some flowers, but I don't really smell that all too much. I do love this though, I wear it everyday like 3 times a day.

I just bought Country Chic this morning actually. I received a coupon for a full sized BBW product from an auction and picked up this one. I was stuck between getting this, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Pink Chiffon, or Pure Paradise. I already own a travel size Pink Chiffon and wouldn't mind getting some more because I'm almost out lol. I was initially looking to try Malibu Heat but that's a seasonal scent so I was out of luck on that. I LOVE Japanese Cherry Blossom but they didn't smell as strong as I usually like it to be and so left Pure Paradise and Country Chick haha. 

I think I went with Country Chic only because I have smelt it before on a friend of mine (the mist) and i would always sniff her and ask her what she was wearing because it was so nice smelling. (Yes, I'm weird like that lol)

I know that next time, if they don't have Malibu Heat for me to try, I will be picking up Pure Paradise to add to my collection.

So if you're wanting to try them, go and pick them up or just go the the store and smell them lol

Mani of the Week (MOTW): Sally Hansen Hard as Nails- 370 No Hard Feelings

Mani of the Week 1: 370 No Hard Feelings by Sally Hansen's Hard as Nails

This varnish is a lovely lilac shade with quite some shine, the perfect pastel for spring or Easter itself.

To make it even cuter you could add some pink or mint dots.

I find that with this varnish, you do need 2-3 layers for the even finish look.

This varnish is comparable to many varnishes such as ELF Lilac, OPI Do you Lilac it, or Zoya Malia.  This line goes for 2-3$ at most Walmarts, Walgreens, or Targets.

Mani of the Week Intro

Hello Lovelies,

From now on, every Thursday I will post a Mani of the Week featuring one or two varnishes.

I will include photos and names of the varnishes if you would like to purchase them yourselves.

I have about 100 varnishes already in my collection, but i'm not afraid to buy more haha.

I'm Baaaaack!

Hello peeps!
I am going to be back for good! Perhaps updating a blog 2 times a week will be a great start.
New topics will still be any Freebies I seem to snag, Nail Varnishes, Beauty Products, Fashion (perhaps), and whatever else I feel like telling you about. Haha.

So new site I joined is Influenster. It's free to join and all you have to do is write reviews on products you use or buy and you can receive VoxBox's which contain totally free products to try and review. If you are interested, Send me your email and I will send you an invite seeings how it's an invitation only site at the moment. I can invite 5 friends to join at the moment I believe.

I will be writing a regular post perhaps Mondays and Thursdays. Those are days that I have the most free time until I go back to school. Which is also a new happening; I will be going back in spring for Early Childhood Education which should only take a year and a half to complete but I will stick to this Blog with my whole might. May even create a new blog just for nails or something else.
